Children thrive through nature connection and free play
Wild Sparks was founded in 2014, to help children in and around Eastern Perthshire to get ahead, stay healthy and have fun in the great outdoors.
We are a Community Interest Company, trading as a social enterprise on a not-for-profit basis. We currently run an outdoor nursery near Coupar Angus and occasional training days for schools and nurseries throughout Scotland. |
Wild Sparks has a strong commitment to Children's Rights and environmental sustainability, built on nature connection. We believe that children learn best and thrive through free play and exploration, with guidance and nurture from key adults.
Wild Sparks is made possible by a small team of professionals with a shared passion for outdoor learning and a combined background in teaching, playwork, early years consultancy and social enterprise. We employ a number of part-time and sessional workers both in the woods and 'behind the scenes'. Read more about our current staff here.
Wild sparks offer flexible working and volunteering opportunities in a supportive and friendly team environment. We are proud to always pay the 'Living Working Wage'.
