Child-led practice outdoors

This brand new course has been developed specifically in response to requests from teachers and practitioners.

Increasingly we are asked "how can I step back and let the children lead, but also cover all of the curriculum, or keep my learners safe?

Child led learning and play has been advocated by pioneers such as Froebel, Isaacs, Rousseau and Reggio Emillio for centuries. At Wild Sparks we are using these approaches alongside Curriculum for Excellence in the early years.

This one day course will explore a range of techniques, strategies and rationale for taking a step back and letting the children lead... outdoors. We will share our preferred intervention strategies but their will be plenty of time for discussion, reflection and peer to peer learning.
