WINTER OUTREACH PROGRAMME 2016/17

Picture
This Dec/Jan/Feb the Wild Sparks team will be out and about visiting schools with our new Winter Outreach Programme!

Designed to encourage and support outdoor learning even in the colder months, this programme offers the choice of two exciting topics: winter wildlife & fire.

Winter Wildlife
This session will encourage the exploration of your site, to seek out the animals you share it with. We may hear stories about native tree species, make bird feeders, play lots of games and make craft items too.

Fire
This session will introduce the element of fire. We'll cover the fire triangle and discover just how important fire was to humans back in the time of Wolf Brother. We may have a go at building our own mini-fires and work together to make a bigger campfire where we can perhaps toast marshmallows and tell stories.

Choose from the above topics or combine elements from both. Topics are adapted for nursery through to upper primary level.

Full or half days available, cost £4-6 per child, min group size 20, max group size 33.

Email: [email protected] for details and booking.
